Indonesia injects $1.1bn into state health insurer

Indonesia will inject 20tn rupiah ($1.11bn) into BPJS Kesehatan to cover its 2026 deficit. The insurer has 285m policyholders and has paid 14tn rupiah more in claims than revenue this year.
